Estou com os mesmos problemas desta pergunta:git status mostra modificações, git checkout - <file> não as remove

Git continua a mostrar modificações no diretório de trabalho, mesmo comgit config --global core.autocrlf false:

(Note que eu até defini o--system configuração para serfalse)

Por que parece que o Git ainda está modificando meu fim de linha?
