Necesito ayuda sobre cómo: Habilitar PCNTL en Ubuntu PHP.

$ mkdir /tmp/phpsource
$ cd /tmp/phpsource


$ wget http://museum.php.net/php5/php-5.3.2.tar.gz
$ tar xvf php-5.3.2.tar.gz
$ cd php-5.3.2/ext/pcntl


$ phpize   -bash: phpize: command not found

¡Todo fue bien hasta que intenté correr phpize! Y luego me sale el error '-bash: phpize: comando no encontrado'? ¿Algunas ideas?

ACTUALIZACIÓN corrió:

$ sudo apt-get update

y luego corrió:

$ sudo apt-get install php5-dev

Con la ayuda de Nick logré terminar el procedimiento. Pero 'make test' falla ???

$ phpize
$ ./configure
$ make

$ cp modules/pcntl.so /usr/lib/php5/20090626/
$ echo "extension=pcntl.so" > /etc/php5/conf.d/pcntl.ini

$ make test - FAILED!

AYUDA: Escribí 'echo "extensión = pcntl.so> /etc/php5/conf.d/pcntl.ini' en lugar de 'echo" extensión = pcntl.so "> /etc/php5/conf.d/pcntl.ini "La primera vez que corrí esto. ¿Eso es MALO?
