Problemas de edición de video en iOS

Actualmente estoy trabajando en una aplicación de iOS que combina el número deseado de videos. Una vez que el usuario toca el botón para fusionar los videos, los videos se unen y luego se reproducen utilizando AVPlayer como:

Actualmente estoy enfrentando los siguientes problemas:

Si un video está en vertical y otro en horizontal, ¿cómo podré rotar el video vertical en horizontal ya que mi vista está en orientación horizontal pero el video vertical conservará su original? (Estoy cargando videos almacenados en el rollo de la cámara, no los estoy grabando dentro de mi aplicación)

Dejando de lado el problema mencionado anteriormente, si fusiono cualquier número de videos, funcionan bien. Una vez que guardo el nuevo video en mi biblioteca, y luego lo cargué en mi aplicación nuevamente e intenté unirlo con otro video nuevo, la resolución se alteró aunque ambos videos, si se reproducen por separado en la aplicación, funcionan realmente bien. ¿Cómo puedo resolver eso?
