Tipo de proveedor llamando a otra dll en F #

En la construcción de la representación interna para un tipo proporcionado, invoco indirectamente en la oferta para la representación interna de mi tipo, otra dll, cuyo código puedo modificar.

Actualmente, cuando consumo el tipo de proveedor, me dice que no puede encontrar dicha DLL:

"No se pudo cargar el archivo o el ensamblado xxxx o uno de sus dependencias"

Sin embargo, cuando inspecciono VS utilizando Process Explorer, puedo ver la dll XXX cargada ... ¿Hay algo que hacer para que el código entre comillas acepte el código de una dll externa?

Lo intenté con un ejemplo simplificado, y parece que es posible llamar a ese dll externo sin que se haga nada especial. En mi caso, todos los archivos DLL de los que depende se cargan, los veo en el Explorador de procesos, así como en las ventanas de los módulos cuando depuro el mismo devenv.exe ...

No tengo idea de dónde mirar. Aquí está la excepción interna.

Si copio la dll xxx y sus dependencias en una de estas rutas, el compilador funciona bien. Todavía me pregunto qué puede hacer que devenv.exe se muestre correctamente cargado pero no accesible.

Parece imposible llamar a una función que toma como argumento un Tipo de otra biblioteca. Un tipo de unión funciona, pero no un tipo apropiado ... Esto se ilustra a continuación.
