In HTML5 ist es noch angebracht, ein<br> tag mit<br />?

Dies gilt natürlich auch für alle anderen Single Tags. Mir ist klar, dass dies keinen Einfluss darauf hat, wie Dinge funktionieren, aber was ist hier die beste Vorgehensweise?
