Fehler beim Erstellen einer bootfähigen Diskette, die einen Bootloader und einen Kernel enthält

Die geplante Methode besteht darin, ein Disketten-Image mit dd zu erstellen und meinen Bootloader in den ersten Sektor zu schreiben, ihn dann zu mounten und meinen Kernel darauf zu kopieren.

Die Befehle, die ich verwendet habe

1-mkdosfs -C floppy.flp 1440, Dieser Befehl erstellt ein Disketten-Image

2-dd status=noxfer conv=notrunc if=boot.bin of=floppy.flp, Dieser Befehl brennt den Bootloader auf den ersten Sektor

Diese Befehle funktionieren sehr gut und das Floppy-Image mit meinem Bootloader im ersten Sektor wurde erfolgreich erstellt

Das Problem tritt auf, wenn ich versuche, das Disketten-Image zu mounten, um den Kernel mit den folgenden Befehlen darauf zu kopieren.

rm -rf tmp-loop

mkdir tmp-loop && mount -o loop -t vfat floppy.flp tmp-loop && cp kernel.bin tmp-loop/

Jedes Mal, wenn ich versuche, das Disketten-Image zu mounten, erhalte ich diesen Fehler

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
       missing codepage or helper program, or other error

       In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so.

Was ist die Lösung für diesen Fehler? Ich benutze Ubuntu 16.04
