Betrachtet man, dass sowohl Google App Engine (GAE) als auch Google Compute Engine (GCE) Teil der Google Cloud Platform (GCP) sind, bedeutet dies, dass Google Cloud VPN sowohl für GAE als auch für GCE funktioniert.
