FFMPEG x264 MP4 Kodierung alles grau

Ich verwende derzeit FFMPEG v1.1 unter CentOS 6.3.

Ich habe FFMPEG konfiguriert mit:

./configure --arch=x86_64  --enable-libmp3lame  --enable-librtmp  --enable-libtheora --enable-libvorbis  --enable-libx264 --enable-pthreads --enable-gpl --enable-runtime-cpudetect 

Wenn ich einen einfachen Befehl zum Aufzeichnen von Live-Eingaben in MP4 ausführe:

ffmpeg -f video4linux2 -s 640x480 -i /dev/video0 /home/irdb/Desktop/test.mp4

Ich bekomme nichts, nur einen grauen Bildschirm mit einigen Artefakten an den Rändern. Wenn ich jedoch den gleichen Befehl wie .MPG ausführe, funktioniert das einwandfrei. Ich brauche es jedoch im MP4-Format.

Nebenbei bemerkt, ich lasse x264-0.120 laufen, das durch yum installiert wird

Meine Frage ist, gibt es ein Problem mit der Art und Weise, wie ich ffmpeg kompiliert habe? Oder ist es möglicherweise etwas anderes?
