Изменение распределения одного набора данных в соответствии с другим набором данных

У меня есть 2 набора данных, один из смоделированных (искусственных) данных и другой с данными наблюдений. Они имеют немного отличающиеся статистические распределения, и я хочу, чтобы смоделированные данные соответствовали наблюдаемому распределению данных в разбросе данных. Другими словами, мне нужны смоделированные данные, чтобы лучше представить хвосты наблюдаемых данных. Вот пример.
