por que substituo o JAVA 8 por JAVA 7, erro de estúdio do Android?

Eu acho que usar retroLambda no Android Studio.

Qualquer pessoa que esteja enfrentando um problema semelhante / resolvido pode dar algum ponteiro para resolvê-lo.

Estou usando o Android Studio 2.1 Preview 3 com nota 2.10
