Estou usando o Tkinter para escrever uma GUI e quero exibir um arquivo png em umTkiner.Label. Então, eu tenho um código como este:

self.vcode.img = PhotoImage(data=open('test.png').read(), format='png')
self.vcode.config(image=self.vcode.img)

Este códigofunciona corretamente na minha máquina Linux. Mas quando eu o executo na minha máquina Windows, ele falha. Eu também testei em várias outras máquinas (incluindo Windows e Linux), falhou o tempo todo.

Se eu excluirformat='png' no código fonte, o traceback se tornará:
