Eu estava olhando para o@org.hibernate.validator.constaints.NotEmpty anotação:

@Retention(RUNTIME)

@NotNull
@Size(min = 1)
public @interface NotEmpty {
    String message() default "{org.hibernate.validator.constraints.NotEmpty.message}";

    Class<?>[] groups() default { };

    Class<? extends Payload>[] payload() default { };

    /**
     * Defines several {@code @NotEmpty} annotations on the same element.
     */
    @Target({ METHOD, FIELD, ANNOTATION_TYPE, CONSTRUCTOR, PARAMETER })
    @Retention(RUNTIME)
    @Documented

Estou confuso com a última parte:

    /**
     * Defines several {@code @NotEmpty} annotations on the same element.
     */
    @Target({ METHOD, FIELD, ANNOTATION_TYPE, CONSTRUCTOR, PARAMETER })
    @Retention(RUNTIME)
    @Documented
    public @interface List {
        NotEmpty[] value();
    }

Não sei bem como isso funciona, nem como usá-lo. Pelo que entendi, qualquer coisa no Java 8 não permite anotações repetidas no mesmo elemento.

Alguém pode esclarecer?
