OK no meu story board eu fiz um UICollectionView com 3 células. Uma das células que fiz uma classe personalizada para isso, obviamente, estende o UICollectionViewCell:

E eu registrei a turma no meu ViewDiDApear:

[self.collectionView registerClass:[DeviceImageCell class] forCellWithReuseIdentifier:@"Cell1"];

Também adicionei um imageView a essa célula específica e uma saída para esse imageView na minha classe personalizada. O problema ocorre quando eu faço minha célula personalizada, ele esquece tudo o que foi definido no meu storyboard, também conhecido como a cor de fundo, onde a minha visão de imagem é e assim por diante. Por causa disso, o meu imageView retorna nulo o tempo todo.
