Uso complejo de JTable, TableModel y otros.

Tengo algunos problemas con el manejo de dos JTable y datos relativos.

Hice esta GUI:

Explico el uso: en la primera jTable tengo una lista de vehículos (camiones, automóviles ...) e información relativa. En la segunda jTable tengo una lista de vehículos que quiero que estén "disponibles" (es decir, se inicia un agente sw), con solo presionar la flecha verde. Entonces, es una sublista de la primera lista: la fila seleccionada en la primera tabla se copia en la segunda.

Primer problema: en la primera columna tengo una imagen explicativa del tipo de vehículo (puede ver un camión en el ejemplo). En la tercera y quinta columna tengo diferentes jComboBoxs. Vea el jComboBox de TIPO VEICOLO (es decir, Tipo): si elijo un vehículo diferente, ¡la imagen en la primera columna debe cambiar! (si elijo cambiar de Camión a Coche, el ícono relativo debe cambiar). Además, posiblemente, no quiero manejar este icono en otros lugares del software. Explico: quiero usar

Object[] vehicle = {"aaa", "kind1", "marca", "disponibile", "ptt" }

y nunca

Object[] vehicle = {"/image/truck.png" ,"aaa", "kind1", "marca", "disponibile", "ptt" }

Segundo problema: en el futuro quiero agregar otras características en la jTable: dimensiones, color del vehículo, licencia ... Sé que las características de un camión son diferentes de las características de un automóvil. Quiero una forma de mantener todas las funciones en el encabezado, pero en cada fila (según el tipo de vehículo) para activar / desactivar algunas celdas.

Tenga en cuenta: los encabezados de jTables no son necesariamente los mismos
