Я понимаю, что этот вопрос уже задавался, но яЯ в моем умеконец с этим.

У меня есть диспетчер сигналов для настройки уведомления:

    PendingIntent pendingIntent=PendingIntent.getService(this,

    cal.set(Calendar.HOUR_OF_DAY, timepicker.getCurrentHour());
    cal.set(Calendar.MINUTE,timepicker.getCurrentMinute());
    cal.set(Calendar.SECOND, 0);
    cal.set(Calendar.MILLISECOND, 0);
    manager.setRepeating(AlarmManager.RTC_WAKEUP,cal.getTimeInMillis(),24*60*60*1000,pendingIntent);

}

... а потом у меня есть само уведомление, что это сервис:}

.... Я включил тост, чтобы убедиться, что я действительно собираюсь этим методом. Поднимается тост, а уведомление - нет. Что я здесь не так делаю? Что-то в файле манифеста мне нужно изменить?
