Как интегрировать плавающую кнопку действия в линейный макет с помощью панели инструментов

У меня есть следующий вид списка, к которому я хочу добавить плавающую кнопку действия.

В текущей форме кнопка не отображается вообще. Я пытался изменитьLinearLayout вCoordinatorLayout так много примеров показывают это. Но тогда я получаю ошибку:

Я тоже трэдFrameLayout но затем список перемещается по панели инструментов (панель инструментов отображается под прозрачными частями элементов списка, но они закрывают панель инструментов, а не наоборот)
